First Day Cover Subscription Service

It's easy to subscribe to Doris Gold First Day Covers (FDC). A deposit account assures each member each new cachet design, as they become available.

The Doris Gold Subscription Service includes:

• Current FDC sent automatically as they are produced, at subscriber special pricing. Back issues (if available) may be purchased at a discount.
• First Day Cover cachets (artwork) have been produced consistently since 1977 for select issues of U.S. postage stamps, usually 8 - 12 issues per year.

Features: Full color FDC from original artwork. Limited editions with a "Touch of Gold" signed by the artist.

Benefits: Members are assured of receiving each FDC issued, member discounts, insert text with each current cover, Newsletters, and other Specials.

Current cachet designs are reproduced in full color from hand-drawn and hand-painted artwork. Envelopes are hand crafted. Most designs are montages consisting of different aspects of the subject being honored, giving more insight into the stamp issue. Some designs have embellishments which have been added to each cover by hand.

Members are kept informed with Newsletters which accompany each shipment. Informative inserts are enclosed with current covers giving added information (starting in 1997). A "Touch of Gold" (a gold dot) is applied to each cover by hand and signed or initialed by the artist.

Due to the limited number of FDC we produce, many of our recent issues have escalated in price or SOLD OUT. To be assured of receiving your new issues as they are released (at discounted prices), sign up now for our SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE.

A deposit account is set up for you (minimum deposit $25.00), and each cover that is sent out, is deducted from your balance. You will be informed when renewal deposit is required. Current single stamp FDC $12.00 (subscribers @ $10).
