Cachet designs which are being serviced will illustrate the cachet — sometimes with temporary pictured postmark — until received back from servicing, which will have the official postmark cancellation. Items will be replaced as official postmarks are returned from servicing.

DGX #241 LUNAR NEW YEAR ~ RAM
This cachet design features the God of Fortune, who plays a big part of the Lunar New Year. This colorful design shows the intricacies and colors of his costume. Also shown are spring flowers, which are prominent at Lunar New Year.

DGX #242 MAYA ANGELOU
Cachet design shows Maya Angelou, author, poet, actress and worker for Civil Rights. Two portraits and the Presidential Medal of Freedom appear with blue background. Stamp and pictorial postmark complete the design.

DGX #243 ELVIS PRESLEY
This cachet design features Elvis Presley in a full figure with microphone, and two small portraits the size of the stamp. When the stamp is affixed, it becomes a part of the cachet design.

#244 INGRID BERGMAN
This design for Ingrid Bergman continues in the Legends of Hollywood series. The cachet design depicts Bergman’s life span in the movies – from early “Casablanca” and “Notorious” to “A Woman Called GOLDA”, her last made-for-TV movie series.

#245 CHRISTMAS IN PANAMA
Our Christmas Around the World FDC series continues this year by saluting PANAMA. The cachet design features a Panamanian women dressed in her native costume, as she parades in the street on the way to the beach where fireworks are set off.
